Peeing on the window of a test

I just took a pregnancy test (I know you should wait until morning but I couldn't sleep). I accidentally got it on the window of the test which the instructions say not to, can this affect the results?

Hmm I've done this before and still got a positive but I'm no expert. I'm not sure how a wet window might affect the results, because as far as i know the liquid is absorbed up to that point. But if the pack says thats no good then its probably best to wait and get another test.
Try peeing in a clean container and dipping it in...less room for error xx

It can cause the dye to run distorting the result. Dip your stick into a pot you've wee'd into. Don't wee onto the stick to avoid flooding the test and seeing on the window.
