Tilted or tipped uterus ?

Hi ladies, today I had my 12 week scan and the midwife couldn’t clearly see the baby through the normal ultrasound so in the end she had to do an internal scan which made it so much clearer to see the baby.
She told me I had a tilted uterus where it was pointing towards my back rather than the front..
Has anybody else had this what does this mean? I’m kind of worried.
Does this mean my bump won’t show as much ?

I've got a tilted uterus. Pregnant with my 4th baby. Never caused any problems they just told me when i had scans.

I have this and had the same issue with scans during pregnancy. It’s nothing to worry about. My bump was huge but some women don’t show much due to it.

It’s hereditary- my mum has it too. There’s absolutely no impact on pregnancy or birth. I had no issues with both fwiw.

I think the only issues associated with it in some unlucky women is pain during sex. Also I think there might be a link with prolapse during menopause/ later life - I’m not sure if that’s true, but I read that it’s more likely in women with retroverted uterus. All the more reason to do your pelvic floors!

In short- no need to worry about it at all.
