Shaving?...

How many of you kept up your shaving as usual? To be honest, I can't see anything down there anymore so when I do shave I'm just blindly waving the razor around abit down there!

Was wondering whether it needs to be gone before you go into labour or not. Just don't feel like I have the care anymore 😂

@TheDowagerCuntess yes for if you tear and they have to stitch or you have a c section...

@Foggymist if you need stitches or have a c section I'm told it gets in the way. And seeing as you prepare for everything not necessarily your birth plan, that was my reason for questioning.

I've had two emcs and they only shave just where they will make the incision if they need to. It's just one small strip.

I've still continued to shave periodically, 33 weeks and I think I will continue to try to do so until closer to my due date!
Would never ask OH to do it so will stop when I physically can't reach anymore!

Legs I still do fortnightly, never had a fast growth on my legs so pretty much the same as pre pregnancy!

Ended up in the mcu today, was monitored and the graph was showing I was having contractions so had to get cervix checked. Wasn't prepared on the shaving front so now don't care Grin

I've had 2 C sections, they shaved a tiny bit at the top to make way for the incision, that was it.

I couldn't care less about midwives etc seeing me with an unshaved pubic area. The only reason I am considering shaving/trimming is because I hate the feeling of dried blood in pubic hair. I remember when I got my period before I shaved and not liking that so I think I will try to avoid that after birth too.
