Hi all,

New to the site and new to pregnancy ! Smile
I'm nearly 13 weeks pregnant, So far I've had nausea since early on but I haven't been sick. I've had headaches, breathing issues , dizziness the lot but haven't ever been sick. Up until this morning Sad is this normal to start being sick now ? I read that everything should start getting better in the 2nd trimester but I'm worried mines going to get worse...
I haven't got a midwife yet, my first appointment is next week so looking for some advice in the meantime.

Thank you

Congrats on your pregnancy Emma!

I'm afraid with pregnancy sickness - nearly anything is normal Sad. With my first pregnancy i was sick on and off and to varying degrees from 8 weeks until the week I gave birth!

This time with 2nd ive had nausea from very early in pregnancy (it's how i knew i was pregnant before a test!). It then totally went at 18w but ive had random vomits without warning including at 4am 2 days ago (I'm now 36w).

Sorry you're feeling this way. Its absolutely rubbish but you do get used to managing it the way that's right for you. Also once the baby is here, you do actually forget some of the #$%^ you went through! Best wishes for your pregnancy and baby x

Thank you Heather Smile
Oh really, seems that anything really does go during pregnancy then.
I feel so rotten and I haven't been able to go into work today I work long days and the thought of being sick and having to spend all day in work Confused
I'm sure I will find a way to manage it , I'm not ever sick so it's a bit of a shock to the system haha!

I hope I forget otherwise I'll not be having another as this experience as been bad enough already and I haven't been through the worse yet haha

I hope all goes well for you not long at all now to go, how exciting! Smile

Take care and thank you so much for your response x

I agree with PP, you just don't know unfortunately, one I my friends felt better after 14 weeks, with my first pregnancy I felt better about 16 weeks! Hopefully it won't be long till you feel better and it won't stick around.

I really hope I feel better soon (I'm 9 weeks and already sick of feeling sick!!).
