31 weeks and turning neurotic - my bump has gone flat ! does this mean anything ?

Hi,

Had a bit of a neurotic week this week possibly due to bleeding early in the week which turned out to be an ectroprion thankfully.

Over the last 24 hours my bump has turned from round to flat, baby still in same position.

Has this happened to anyone else ? Does it mean anything ?

Is it the same size and still quite taut? Or has it shrunk a bit?

Are you sure the baby is still in the same position? It could be just that it's rotated round so it's spine to spine maybe...?

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along soon?

I know its still in the same place as i can still feel its little foot poking out of my right hand side, bit does seem to have shrunk a bit.

Everything generally feels the same but I has definately got flatter. I know I am being neurotic but just thought I would ask about and see if anyone else had had the same happen to them.

I used to get a flat bump near the end of my pg. Ds didn't change his position, he just must have shifted a bit. Sometimes the bump would be lovely and round, sometimes flat on one side, sometimes a bit pointy.

As long as the movements are normal I wouldn't worry.
