Tiramisu!

Currently in Venice and my MIL has brought me back a slice of traditional tiramisu from a café... Can I eat this when pregnant? I'm thinking raw eggs, caffeine and alcohol... But I'm also thinking surely it can't be that bad and it's probably delicious!

Put me out of my misery and let me know if I have to part with my slice to someone else Cake

Are you sure there's raw eggs and alcohol? I didn't think it contained that. Caffeine yes, but you're allowed a few cups of coffee a day and this will be below that limit.

Of course. A slice of tiramisu isn’t going to harm your baby! Enjoy Grin

I went to Italy at 20 weeks and ate tiramisu :) I double checked with the restaurant as to what was in it, was delicious and I’m 31 weeks and all going well. I don’t think it has raw egg in, and u are allowed a bit of caffeine and alcohol content is pretty low :)

No idea Lulu. Google says varying things.

I like the encouragement though guys and will divulge.

When in Venice, after all!

No no no! Raw eggs and alcohol! Wouldn’t be too worried about the coffee in it though!
