So have been looking at car seats for a long time and was set on maxi cosi pebble plus with 2-way isofix base. Checked online and website says compatible but STUPIDLY we didn't actually try it out in our car. Ordered it this morning from John Lewis as they have 15% off at the moment and it's the cheapest I have seen it so wanted to take advantage. Anyone tell me if it actually will fit (with enough room for someone to sit in the front?!) thanks

We have a Toyota Corolla which I think is a similar size and it fitted in ours and in my sisters tiny Peugeot 😊

Excellent thanks! Worst way we will return it but hopefully we don't need to!

I've just got an a3 and the back is absolutely huge, dd is now 3 with ridiculously long legs (jealous!!) And has so much room compared to other cars

BlueBug45 · 09/09/2018 18:54

I personally don't think the back is huge but then my previous cars have been the same size.

We have it and a maxi cosi. It just fits behind the drivers seat because we have our older son in the cybex sirona behind the front passenger seat.

We had an a3 and the pebble, we had the sports model and we could have someone in the passenger seat but the leg room was a bit tight as they would need to move forward for the car seat.

Should do. We have a 5 door S3 and there's so much room in the back. Even with the front seat quite far back

Thanks. Keeping fingers crossed! We have s-line and sports seats (I think?!) I never know actually what make of car we have haha. But by the sounds of it, it should fit. If the passenger has to move seat forward a but that's not the end of the world. Neither of us are tall!!

It will definitely fit. I got the exact same car seat and base into the back of my 3-door A1, also s-line. The passenger seat needed to be moved forward a bit to get it in but I could still sit in passenger seat, although I am only 5ft2. Needless to say it's much easier with a bigger 5 door car so I have claimed DH's 'bus' and he uses my a1 (looking like Donkey Kong 😂😂)

Yep, same as above. Got it and the pebble and the passenger seat just had to be forward a bit. Got a recaro zero 1 in there now. Still fits but is even tighter for the passenger!
