When did you start to show?

Hi all,

This is my first pregnancy and I am not showing yet. When did you all start to show?

I am a size 14(12 on a good day😂) but only 5ft so I am over weight according to bmi

I still seem to be suffering from bloating but I just want a bump so I feel more pregnant if that makes sense

Will it take longer as it's my first pregnancy and I am bigger built anyway

First pregnancy i didn't have a visible bump til 20 weeks. I'm 5ft 1 and size 12 (On a good day )

Third pregnancy I was showing before 12 weeks!

I’m nearly 13 weeks and very petite (5ft 2 and size 6/8) and I don’t have a bump at all yet. In the morning my stomach is still flat and I just get bloating throughout the day. I know it’s early days yet but with me being petite I thought I might notice it by now. I’m interested to see other responses! X

I am 12+5 with my first (second pregnancy, one miscarriage) and I feel I started showing in the last week or so. Seems early, but my mum was the same with all her pregnancies. It's not bloat: been bloated since the beginning and this is different. I'm a size 12 usually at 5'5

I didn't with my first and I was a 10. Everyone is different

Very early on and I was a size 10. I had bloat from the start which turned into a bump, so I didn’t have a flat tummy from pretty much 6 weeks onwards.

I'm quite tall and currently at 29 weeks, was a size 14 pre pregnancy, I just look like I've had a big meal at the moment haha.
Interestingly I'm the same weight I am now as what I was at 10 weeks at my booking appointment xx

Around 16 weeks with DC1, and 13 weeks with DC2.

With my first I started showing around 15/16 weeks slightly

16 weeks to me, 20 weeks more obviously. Now 26 weeks (well, tomorrow lol) and it’s pretty obvious!

I’m 5’10” and was a size 16 pre pregnancy x

Around 16 weeks. I'm 18 now and very obviously pregnant, but my friend who is due almost the same time as me has almost no bump! I've actually not gained any weight so it's obviously stuff shifting about...

I'm 14 weeks pregnant with my first and have just started showing. I'm pretty tall (5'9") and slim (size 8/10).

Though I bloated very early on. At around 11/12 weeks my bloat went away, I had about two weeks where my stomach was flat, and then my bump started appearing. I feel huge now

I was around 25 weeks with my first. I was am 5ft7/8 and was a 10/12 at the time.

I was the same weight with my second when I fell pregnant and I was around 22/23 weeks.

I started showing at 20weeks. I'm now 6 months and have really popped out!

With my DD (nearly 5) I didn't show until the end really! Was around 7 months before I got past the tiny bloating stage.

This time I showed form about 6 weeks!

First pregnancy I was about 18-20 weeks before I was showing (size 14), this time I'm 9 weeks and already in maternity clothes!

I'm 34 weeks and I've only just got a proper bump! My first too...

I started showing at about 24 weeks. But the moment you are in maternity clothes the jig is up IMO as they emphasise any hint of a bump!

I was 37 and 5'2", size 14, and a bit fatter than I would have liked before I got pregnant. I hardly showed until about 7 months, it was difficult because there were times when I was feeling very unwell and also anxious about being jostled on the tube. I felt that I had to tell work at about 11 weeks because of a reorganisation of roles - didn't want to upset anyone by leaving them to decide and then saying by the way...

The problem was I had bad morning sickness - and the rest of the day - throughout my pregnancy - baby put on more weight than I did!

In my second pregnancy at 38/39 (babies 21 months apart so I got pregnant when DS1 was just a year old!) morning sickness stopped at 3 months and I put on a lot more weight and was fatter to start with (didn't pile it on first time during pregnancy but clearly did over the following year!). I did show a lot sooner, probably at 3/4 months.

When DS1 was 2 months old smoking was much more restricted in public places - cafes and pubs and things - and I think this may have played a part in the difference in sickness during my pregnancies. My mum had morning sickness that put her in hospital and at the time people could smoke anywhere and her students smoked in class - ugh! And patients, visitors and staff all smoked in the hospital ward too.

With my first not until about 28-30 weeks .

I'm 15+5 with number 2 at the mo and I look no different, just like I've had a cake too many
