Anyone having their HCG monitored?

Hi ladies. I got a BFP last Friday and for one reason or another got sent to the EPU. My periods are irregular so no idea on realistic dating. They tested my HCG 200 and progesterone 12 and as nothing could be see on a scan they said it would be none viable.... but I'm hoping it's just early pregnancy. Anyone started with similar levels and had a happy ending?

Hi, I’m in the same boat as you. Are they going to check your hcg levels again next week to see if they are doubling? I’m having another test on Monday so just anxiously waiting.

200 doesn’t seem low of you are 4 weeks

Obviously everybody is different but, mine was 97 at 4+4 and 254 at 4+6.

I was told levels should double every 48 hours in the early stages, and nothing can be seen on a scan until they’re at over 1000.

I didn’t actually get an early scan as they were happy with my levels, but I’m 11+3 now and all seems to be well, though obviously anxiously awaiting 12 week scan.

Hey Yes I'm being tested again on Thursday. I could have conceived on 16th aug and perhaps they should ignore the dates of my period as irregular. I'm really struggling and just want to hide away quietly until Thurs 😔 goodluck to you! Xx

I was told they can't see anything on a scan until levels are 1000+ so I wouldn't worry they didn't see anything. If your hcg doubles every 48 hours you should be on track. Early pregnancy is such a difficult time wondering if it's going to stick. Best of luck to you.

Just they said not to get my hopes up and it woudlnt be viable so I'm just lying awake at night worrying 😞
