I’m 35 weeks and the midwife wrote in my notes 2/5ths palpable... what does that mean?

It means that the baby is 2/5ths engaged but she can still move it's head, I think. Basically its waiting to drop down into your pelvis where it may then stay for a few weeks, or it might pop in and out as it fancies.

I think it means how much the babies head is engaged?
I'm probably wrong though.

Have you Googled it?

I gave it a google and it said 5/5 4/5 is that the head is free and 3/5, 2/5, 1/5 means they can only feel what’s left of the head in your abdomen... which mean baby is engaging but every where states different I live in the UK. My friend said from what she can remember if the midwife said 2/5 palpable then 3/5 of the babies head is in my pelvis

No idea.
But in all, it means nothing.

First babies tend to engage quicker and bygod did my bladder know all about that. Waddling like John Wayne for weeks.
It doesn't mean they come any earlier.

Second babies tend to float free until they actually want to come. My second baby was never engaged, he still flew out at the rate of knots once he decided it was time.
