The two car seats I’ve narrowed it down to are the MaxiCosi Pebble plus or the Britax babysafe i-size. I have a pram compatable with the MaxiCosi but plan on exclusively using the carrycot (it could still be handy, though!). I prefer the colours of the Britax and thought it had a better lie flat feature, which is important since we will be travelling by car a lot (2 hour journey) and I’m aware that a newborn can’t be in the seat for longer than 30 mins at a time due to problems being in an upright position. Anyone have experience of either car seat/advice? Please vote for which one you’d get in my position!

I decided on the pebble plus when faced with the same decision. Main reason being that yes it is £400, but I can reuse the base with the Pearl and do extended rear facing until LO is 4. It seemed like the right option for us.
