I mean, what are you meant to DO?

No part of my situation is going to change. 2 days is max for ds at nursery, dd not at nursery, dp not using holiday so he can take it after dp born.

NO family locally and also-complex situation with failed IVF of relative on one side and anticipated "oh for god's sake, AGAIN?" rxn on the other (pil could find some depressing news in a lottery win) means I am holding back on sharing the news anyway.

aaargh

friends all lovely but snowed under with own kids. And already feel overwhelmed by fact I have TWO (mostly they all have one). So no joy there.

aaargh. I think I am just ranting really.

I am SURE it was not this bad last time or time before

ta beany

BIG problem atm is that i have an essay due in, its a non negotiable one-if i don't submit this I fail the course. NO extensions (it replaces an exam).

Its due in on Tuesday and counts for 40% of the marks for the course.

I have actually failed to hand in another essay ALREADY this week, and taken the 0%, which I CAN, just, but this time I can't.

aaaargh.

CBeebies or a good DVD.
Sandpit.
get them some childrens gardening tools, they love digging.
I put the hose on (very slightly) and they play for ages filling up small containers, watering the plants etc.(just make sure no large containers in garden as wouldn't be safe).
Collecting leaves and stones.

SOME people would google and find the essay that they wanted on the internet, and just change it around a bit, I expect

fillyjonk · 08/06/2007 18:13

oh lol

it IS maths, and I AM married to someone with a phd in maths but...

I can't bring myself to do it. I just can't.

No I wouldn't suggest that you would, of course not

but I expect SOME people would, if they were about to fail, and they tried hard over the weekend to do it honestly, and just couldn't, because through no fault of their own except having got their leg rather enthusiastically, they suddenly found themselves indisposed...
