First midwife appointment

Hiya so i have my first midwife appointment tomorrow. Should i take a urine specimen? I can't remember if i needed one in my previous pregnancy?

I was told I didn’t need one for my first appointment but my friend did so no harm
I’m taking one and not needing it x

I didn't, they gave me a container for the second one. If they've not mentioned it in advance, I wouldn't worry.

I had my on Monday, they asked for a urine sample and gave me a cup and syringe. I then for some stupid reason pressed the plunger on the syringe and wee went everywhere sooooo just to warn you don't do that

I was asked to give a sample at the end of my booking appointment if I was able to (I was) and then given a container to take to my 2nd. I wouldn't take anything if they haven't asked you to beforehand.
