irregular gestational sac any one had this please what was your outcome xx

hello there im 7 weeks 4 days pregnant i had brown and pink spotting last thursday went to the early epu on fri with suspected eutopic as i was in pain and had cramping anyway had scan expecting the worse then the lady told me the baby was the right size and had a strong heart beat which i was in tears over soooo happy however she said the gestational sack was the weirdest shape she had ever seen and it was irregular ! it had really weird jagged edges like it was trying to be the normal round blob shape but just wasnt on all sides i have googled this with not much concrete information and a lot of poor women with sad stories, needless to say im shitting it pardon my french the spotting has stopped and no more pain but i have to wait two weeks for a rescan to check the baby's sack i've never heard of this at all and have had two previous pregnancies both were fine sorry for the long post just really hoping for a good outcome especially as i have now seen the little soul and its little heartbeat and its all i can think about has anyone experienced this any help appreciated thankyou xxx

I had a scan at 7 weeks 4 days that picked up an irregular shaped sac, it was called something can't remember what it was but the statistics said it happened in like 0.7% of pregnancies however they worked that one out. Anyway it said it causes miscarriages etc etc they didn't send me for second scan. I had my 12 week scan and my sac had sorted itself out and was a normal shape, the irregularity that they had seen could not be noticed. I spent from that time till 12 weeks worrying about it and I really wished I hadn't. Try a d stay away from Google I'm sure your aware it's not the best place lol hope all continues to be well xx

i got my scan through today for next friday so hopefully everything's ok, your so right about google !
theres nothing but worrying information im just like you say you were worried to death over it.
i bet waiting till the 12 week scan was horrendous, you poor thing, i'm really glad everything worked out well and fingers crossed everything's ok for me and my little butter bean xx thanks again you have put my mind at ease knowing someone else knows what this is lol xxxx

hello just wanted to update this thread in case anyone was googling and came across it unfortunately for me it was bad news i went to the scan last fri and was told my baby had no heartbeat my baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks 4 days i was told id had a missed miscarriage i then had a medical managed miscarriage on sunday which was the most horrible experience i have ever had in my whole life and then unfortunately an infection just to really kick me when i was down however i haven't let it get the best of me and am waiting a while but am going to try again in the future as they say hope dies last, good luck for the future and loads of love to all the women who have the misfortune of going through this and find this on google i really hope in my heart it turns out to be good news for you godbless and take care xxxx
