I know the baby himself is a big enough gift and blessing...but I really wanted to get my boyfriend a present for when little one arrives to give him at the hospital. I feel like mum's get such a fuss made of them (rightly so too with what we go through lol😂) but I want him to feel equally as special.

He isn't a soppy romantic person but I don't know whether an occasion this special could be the moment to give him something sentimental.

Any ideas or suggestions large or small would be very much appreciated..I'm totally stuck, I have only come up with matching tops for him and little one!!

Thank you 😊xxx

Hi :) when my son was born, my hubby was in and out of hospital for 3 days whilst I was induced, induced again, etc! So if I had thought about it in advance I would have left a few nice bits for him, like some nice pre prepared food in the fridge, clean towels out, all those little things that would have made those few days a bit easier. Another idea is to leave a card anywhere he won't find it, then when baby is born and he goes home (if you stay in hospital) you can say "go look in X" so he finds it. My hubby isn't very sentimental with gifts and I'm due around his 40th so baby = gift lol! Otherwise the standard best daddy mug is the way to go! Good luck xx

Ragaroo thanks very much, I think a card and mug would be a brilliant idea. Just so he knows he is appreciated. Thanks so much and good luck to you too 😊xxx

I bought my partner a bracelet with a personalised message on the inside. He wears a few leather wrap bracelets on one wrist so I added to the collection.
I put it somewhere hidden but easy to get to and told him where to find it when he was sent home from the hospital when visiting hour stopped.

For our first son I bought my husband a new watch "time is precious" kinda thing. For our second I got him cuff links with the countries our children were born on them. This time? Meh. I'm outta ideas

What about something which he can use with the baby? Like a wrap so he can do skin to skin and bond? Amawrap or something similar?
