So I’m 8 weeks off meeting my baby.
I have 3 year old from a previous relationship he is almost 4.

New baby’s dad walked out a month ago, doesn’t want to work things out. Has come completely as a shock to me and I am heartbroken.
Now I’m worried how on earth will I cope with my son and the baby? Alone ?
I have no family, I have friends who I think might help but again I have no idea.
Also I’m having a planned section to make things even more worrying! So I’ve asked my sons dad to have him for a week when I go in

Hi just wanted to tell you. You will be just fine. I was a single mom to a 5 year old and a newborn. And really thought I would struggle. But my eldest was brilliant with helping mommy with things and helping his little brother. You will settle into your own new routine and it will just become natural too you I promise.

Ah really! I think it’s the newborn stage I’m most worried about- was there anything that you found particularly challenging ?
