I had my 12 week scan yesterday and I had requested all of the checks for everything. Im 38 and this is my third and final pregnancy.
Unfortunately little so and so was more interested in backflipping and rolling around than allowing a single measurement to take place. So now I'm booked in for a 15 week blood test that only tests for Downs and supposedly is less accurate.
I've looked online for any info I can and it's all different everywhere.
I tried to book a private scan and there were none available in the allowed timeframe.
I suppose I'm asking how I can stop worrying?
I'm a worrier by nature but I know it's not totally unfounded concern. I'm now quite tense and want to just enjoy my last pregnancy

Have you looked into getting a harmoney or panorama test. That will test for Downs plus other genetic conditions. It ranges from £380 - 450. If you can afford it would give you a much more accurate answer. I'm also pregnant with no.3 and feel very anxious of something being wrong. I had the test done despite the cost. And it really helped to know.
