Is this round ligament?

Hi all

I’m 12 weeks and have my scan this afternoon- following 2 miscarriages I am so nervous. We had a healthy scan at 8 but I’m still a wreck.

Since yesterday morning I’ve had a dull nagging pain in the lower left hand side- quite low toward my ovaries type area. I’ve been quite concerned but after having a look on dr google (always a mistake) I’m wondering if it could just be round ligament pain? Does anyone know if it sounds like this? I’ve got a midwife appointment tomorrow so I can ask then but just wondering if anyone else has had this? Thanks

Yes and my left side was worse with all 4 pregnancies as well.
Round ligament pain has been so pain it's stopped me in my tracks and I've had to be stock still until it passes.
Those in my "due in" group also got it worse on the left side.

Oof I did. Sorry to hear you're getting the same. It is all normal but you're doing the right thing mentioning it to your MW.

Thank you for the reassurance earlier. Scan went well! Dating 12+6 so nearly a week further than I thought! Lots of movement and baby was sucking his/her thumb! I’m besotted already, just can’t believe all is well!!!! X

Thank you! If anyone is reading this- funnily enough when I woke up with morning I can feel a small, hard and very definite bump! I think the pain must have been things moving!!! But my tummy has definitely popped more, looking particularly preggers this morning!!! Xxx
