Babylo cozi sleeper query!

Hi all

We have been kindly given second hand babylo next to me crib but I have a query!
In all the pics I’ve seen the crib sits level with the bed height, but our bed is too high and so the cribs mattress is lower than our bed.
I plan to use it with the zip down it just means having o reach down and in to reach baby. Is this ok for safety? DOEs anyone else do this?

Does it state in the instructions that it needs to sit flush with the bed? I imagine the side of your bed isn't breathable, so wouldn't be recommended for a baby, particularly if they managed to roll into their side and couldn't roll back?

Following this with interest, our Chicco next2me is similar. The bedside cribs get such rave reviews, I’m sure I must be missing something but just can’t figure out how they’re so useful/ lifesavers. Unless it’s just our beds....

Have you checked the legs have adjusted all the way up?

Yea we must have a high mattress as it won’t go up
To level with the mattress. It’s been given to us by family so don’t have access to instructions been trying to google it but can’t find anything. It seems like it would probably be ok it’s jusy a couple of inches lower but it’s jusy not ideal
