So I’ve got an horrendous viral chest infection and head cold and I’ve been using tiger balm the last few days to help my chest and I’ve seen an old thread on here that it’s not good to use ? Help ?

I was told that tiger balm isn’t best to use whilst pregnant (which is all that managed to shift my headaches some days), no matter if it’s the red or the white tub. As far as I know, vapour rub is safe though so could be an alternative going forward?

Thank you this is literally the last thing that was helping me 😓 do we know why we can’t use it in pregnancy ? Little bit worried now xx

I think it’s the clove oil in it (or maybe the camphor) but maybe it’s one of those things that they can’t say it is safe or unsafe due to not being able to ethically test it on pregnant women. You could always give your midwife a ring to double check?

Hopefully you feel better soon Smile
