Wonder if anyone else has/had this..

I'm 17 weeks and after a while of walking or moving about I'm getting a pain in my groin/top of leg- feels like I'm being poked with a knitting needle. It's bleeding annoying and is hindering me getting on with things!

Sounds like it could be the start of PGP. If you can self refer to physio, they can give you exercises and provide you with a support belt which should help. I was crippled with it by 24 weeks in 2nd pregnancy, it started this time round at 11 weeks but managed to keep it at bay and have had no real problems with it (now 38 weeks). Staying active within your pain limits is very important- don’t push through the pain. I usually walk 10k a few times a week, but once I hit about 20 weeks that became too much, so have had to gradually cut it down. Can still manage 5k once a week with shorter ones in between, but it wasn’t worth having a few days of agony to recover from long walks. Swimming breaststroke is another one that’s bad for setting it off.
