Anyone around West Sussex pregnant? Would be lovely to know if there are some that are using mumsnet! If so how far gone and where in West Sussex do you like ☺️☺️

Hey Markygirl1995 I live in West Sussex in a village called Billingshurst, which is close to Haywards Heath/Horsham/Crawley... I'm 35 weeks today. Nice to 'meet' a fellow WS mum🤗😁
How about you!? X

ThirdChildFourthPile · 07/09/2018 19:07

East Sussex here, but having the baby in Hayward's Heath (since its been mentioned above!) so not too far away.

Where will you be having your baby?

I'm about to turn 25 weeks

AllThatTalks · 08/09/2018 00:07

ThirdChildFourthPile we are having him at PRH in HH as well, it was where our first was born in 2012 too. Royal Surrey is now our catchment but we're familiar with HH as we both grew up in Burgess Hill👍 I take it from your username this is your third child? Congrats! Do you know what you're having? X

ThirdChildFourthPile · 08/09/2018 08:02

PRH is lovely, I had my second son there and I was the only person on the ward! Which is a far cry from my other option of Brighton hospital which by nature is very very busy!

Third boy! How about you? How far along are you?

ThirdChildFourthPile · 08/09/2018 08:03

Sorry I've just seen you're 35 weeks so a good 10 weeks ahead of me. Is it your first?

AllThatTalks · 08/09/2018 08:24

This is our second, we already have a boy who Will be 6 a week before baby is due so second boy for us this time around. Feel like time is standing still these past few weeks though...always the way!
Third boy is amazing! Congrats! How old are your others? X

Markygirl1995 · 10/09/2018 22:45

Hey! I’m nearly 30wks pregnant with my first child and I’m from West Sussex. Due to give birth in St Richards, Chichester.

Ac1988 · 11/09/2018 07:40

Hi me too Smile

I'm also in Billingshurst and am 24 weeks pregnant with my first.

AllThatTalks · 11/09/2018 13:19

@Markygirl1995 oh we're very close together then! I'll be 36 weeks Friday so only a week ahead.
How are you feeling? Is this your first/do you know what you're having?
I am getting to the desperate stage now, had my last day at work today so looking forward to feet up for a few weeks in between school runs🙈🤗 xx

@Belkinsboo Hey👋 congrats! How are you feeling? Where abouts in West Sussex are you if you don't mind me asking? Do you know if you're having a boy or a girl? X

@Ac1998 Congrats! Hows pregnancy been so far? Nice to meet someone else in Billingshurst! X

belkins · 11/09/2018 14:41

Hi @AllThatTalks, up until about a week ago I seemed to be doing fine....and then the hips started hurting, acid reflux began and a wave of tiredness has overcome me Grin I'm sure it's all just par for the course and part of being an older mum!! I'm down on the south coast by the beach so have romantic ideals of taking the baby (it's a boy) for coastal walks. In reality I'll still be in my PJs for most of the day I'm sure!

How are you doing at 35wks? Is your nearly 6yr old looking forward to being a big bro?

AllThatTalks · 11/09/2018 15:54

@Belkins its always the way! You read other people's stories and think you've got away with it but the fun symptoms always get you eventually! Congrats on your baby boy...they're great even if I'm biased🙄😳😁
That does sound very nice being by the seaside for walks though, I hope it works out that way.... although pyjamas all day with nowhere to go is a win win as well😉

My son can't wait, he has just started Year 1 and he seems to have a daily countdown with his teacher who is probably fed up and it's only the second week of school🤦‍♀️
I am struggling a lot more this time around, I was really young & only just 21 when my first was born so had all the energy, this time I just want to lay down & relax... I've now finished work so hoping to have some down time to chill before baby comes x

Markygirl1995 · 11/09/2018 20:04

@AllThatTalks I know crazy 35 weeks today! I'm finding everything fine apart from the heartburn and acid reflux that comes and goes. I found out at 16 weeks I'm having a boy do you know what you're having?

Ac1988 · 11/09/2018 20:28

@allthattalks thank you, I've been very lucky so far and had a relatively easy pregnancy, so fingers crossed it stays this way! Not long to go for you now get you can't wait! x

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 11/09/2018 21:22

Hey lovely ladies,

Fellow West Sussex girl here 👋🏻🤰🏻 I'm just under 14 weeks with our first baby! I'm a coast girl 😊👋🏻

Markygirl1995 · 12/09/2018 19:09

@SunshineAndRainbows6 hiya! How are you finding pregnancy so far?

OP posts:
AllThatTalks · 12/09/2018 19:22

@Markygirl1995 I have so far avoided heartburn in this pregnancy (and the entirety of my first too) so hoping I'll make it to the end unscathed😉
Just general moaniness from me, finding the extra weight/waddle and constant "do i/don't I need a wee" a bit irritating, especially at night!🤦‍♀️
We're also having a boy, our first is very excited...he was not remotely interested in a sister! Lol X

@Ac1998 Im very excited now, had my home health visitor appt. today & feels very real now! I'll be having a C-section on 9th Oct unless he comes before then! It's such a waiting game😬 x

Hey @SunshineAndRainbows6 👋👋
Congrats on your pregnancy, very exciting to be in the second trimester now😁 how are you feeling? X
