Hi guys well the title says it all, I am currently 8 weeks pregnant today and yesterday my painful sore breast/nausea/tiredness/aversions suddenly disappeared. I have had mild cramping for 3 days which seems to have gone now but I’m paranoid I am having a missed mc. I have had 4 previous mcs 1st 1 at 6+3 after seeing baby’s heartbeat and the next 3 where all blighted ovums. This time I saw baby and strong heartbeat at 6 weeks so I was hopeful this time my baby would be fine BUT today I just don’t feel pregnant at all. I have even had a coffee which I haven’t had in weeks. I have had no bleeding but I am on progesterone suppositories and I believe they would stop bleeding. I’m terrified and incredibly weepy today, I just want to have a baby and it be healthy and happy and I honestly do not think I could go though another mc

With your history, I think you should be referred for an early scan without question. Ring your GP and get seen. Hope it's all okay

Tasha32 · 03/09/2018 13:53

Have you seen your midwife hun? How'd it go?

MyMumDimensionJumps · 03/09/2018 14:02

My symptoms have come and gone (although not for long) and I'm 11 weeks. It is scary when they disappear, but don't forget that feeling weepy could also be a symptom that your pregnancy is progressing well too.

I hope all goes well at your scan today and it's a good outcome for you Flowers

Hi sorry for the late update, well I went and had a scan and saw my tiny little bean with a strong heartbeat THANK GOD!!! She did measure me at 7+2 tho which is slightly behind what I should be and I had a scan 2 weeks ago which said I was 6 weeks then so iamhoping the measurements are incorrect or should I be concerned? Xxx

Going from my scan dates 2 weeks ago I should be atleast 8 weeks today also from lmp I should be 8+3 so just over a week behind is this normal? Xx

Glad you got some good news! Measurements are not accurate this early on. I had a scan at 7+4 and it came with a disclaimer that only the 12 week scan can be relied on for dating. Try to relax and enjoy not feeling awful!

MyMumDimensionJumps · 03/09/2018 17:05

Going on my first scan I was put 4/5 days ahead and then my second was bang on my EDD based on LMP, so it's not accurate this early. I also had a scan at 38 wks which was 6lb more than when my son was born 2 weeks later. I wouldn't worry too much.

MyMumDimensionJumps · 03/09/2018 17:07

I meant 6oz not lbs! I think I would have ordered a CS there and then if that was the case!!

Glad it all went well today.

Glad all okay, try not to stress out too much and ruin your first trimester even though it's hard but do get checked out if you feel anything has changed
