Hi All

I'm new to this. First baby due February 2019.

How does the nub theory work?! And what's everyone's thoughts on my scan?!

Between 11-13 weeks, all babies are said to have a ‘nub’ between their legs called the genital tubercle, and according to this theory the angle of the nub will indicate whether it’s a boy or girl.

It’s said that if the nub is over 30 degrees up from the spine, it’s a boy – but if it’s under that then it’s a girl.

Yours appears to be almost 90 degrees up from the spine, so according to nub theory you've got a baby boy .

I was going to say boy as well, but more based on the
Shape of the skull. Think nubs can change quite a bit up
to 16 weeks, but some are more obvious than others.

(but im not an expert).
