Stabbing pains/numb

My right hip when I sit down is like someone’s stabbing me there with a hot knife,then it goes numb? I’m 37+2 anyone else had similar? Wondering what it is it’s so painful! On my gym ball and it’s starting now xx

Could be a trapped nerve or because baby be low it could b pushing and hitting a nerve

God I hope he moves,the pain is unbearable xx

Google meralgia paraesthetica and see if it fits with numbness pattern. If not try stretching out low back with some gentle cat/camel.

I thought it might! Much more common in pregnancy... if it’s not too severe it may settle on it’s own after some time in looser clothes. Where the soft waistband joins the jeans on maternity jeans can hit just the wrong spot! Obviously see your GP if you’re concerned. Hope it settles soon!
