Good luck! My waters broke at 35+2, we had to spend a week in hospital but shes 7 months now and you wouldn’t know she was born early.

shakeyourcaboose · 02/09/2018 07:41

Good luck!!

flumpybear · 02/09/2018 07:47

Exciting ... hope all goes well

icklekid · 02/09/2018 07:49

My dd was 34 weeks and other than jaundice you'd never know it. I think 36 is close enough to term you may not even need to stay in hospital ( we were only in a week) good luck!

HairyMaclary · 02/09/2018 07:53

Hope you’ve not my SIL! Good luck...

ellesbellesxxx · 02/09/2018 07:58

Eek good luck! My twins were born at 36 weeks.. we needed support with feeding as one had low blood sugars, one needed treatment for jaundice (common at this gestation) but we were in a week (on ward together) hope
It all goes well x

Bobbybobbins · 02/09/2018 08:03

My waters went at 37 weeks- good luck!

DaphneFanshaw · 02/09/2018 08:04

Good luck, try not to worry about being on the early side. 36 weeks is just fine.

Bin85 · 02/09/2018 08:05

Good luck
happened to me at 32 weeks and all turned out well
Will be thinking of you

SiolGhoraidh · 02/09/2018 10:46

Good luck! Mine went at 36 weeks as well, and I had a very healthy little boy, who just needed a few days with me on the post natal ward to get his feeding started.

ThirdChildFourthPile · 02/09/2018 11:16

36 weeks isn't too bad at all, and I speak from experience nursing neonates.

Best of luck. Flowers

HelenSim33 · 02/09/2018 15:52

Good luck. 36 weeks is pretty close to term. I'm sure everything will turn out fine. Xxx

Iwantaunicorn · 02/09/2018 16:52

DiscoSue · 02/09/2018 17:33

Good luck!! DS arrived at 36 weeks and he was fine , try not to worry! smile] Flowers

Thanks for all well wishes.

Still no sign of baby. My waters have definitely gone so they're keeping me in because of risk of infection. They're giving me 48 hrs to go into labour by myself and then they are going to induce me. Excited and nervous all at the same time 😁

Crikey, good luck! Rest rest rest if you can, all the best to you and baby

FraterculaArctica · 02/09/2018 20:59

Same happened to me 2 years ago (at 35+2). Hospital is the right place for you to be, after waters went nothing seemed to be happening but then DD was born in 45 mins and only just got moved from antenatal to.delivery in time! Your little one might need a bit of help with feeding but otherwise likely to be just fine. Exciting!

Howhot · 02/09/2018 21:42

Wishing you the best op!

simonthedog · 02/09/2018 21:45

I had mine at 36 weeks and 35 weeks. They both needed a week in hospital to sort out feeding and a bit of jaundice but they were otherwise fine, Good luck.

Had a girl at 6am :) Went from 1cm to 10 cm in less than 10mins. It was agony. No time for epidural and my hubby missed it but i don't care just glad its over and shes doing well.

Sounds like agony but very short OP. Glad you’re both ok Thanks
