First trimester hair dye?

Hi Does anybody know if its ok to dye my hair in first trimester? It's a semi pernement conditioner hair colour 100%vegan. I'm not sure if this is ok to use? Thanks in advance.

I had a full colour done at 9 weeks. No ill effects on the baby, just make sure the room is well ventilated :)

Some people prefer to wait until after 12 weeks. It's personal choice.

The biggest issue may be that your skin is more sensitive to hair dye, so just be aware of how your scalp feels. Also I have heard of people's dye not taking as well in pregnancy.

I had purple hair when I found out i was pregnant and thought friggen great, cant dye my hair now!!
Spoke to my midwife at BI app and she said its totally fine to use hair dye( i use liveXXL) and said apparantly there was something in dye years and years ago that was harmful but not anymore.

I still waiting until id had my scan to dye, but put a brown on as didnt want to dye it every 6 weeks just to be safe(paranoid mam to be haha)

I can second the above tho, It didnt take all that well over the purple, and I used 2 boxes.

From what I hear it's fine but best to ventilate the room as much as possible. I definitely did it before I discovered I was pregnant but I did find that it didn't take as well and faded quicker
