Hi, I am so stuck I have been advised numerous times that baby swing seats are a life saver and can be used from new born to help sooth them whilst through the day.

Has anyone used one and if so, were the suitable from newborn and what brand did you use?

Thanks so much 😊xx

Never had one. Don’t see the point. Had a bouncy chair and a pair of arms.

I bought an expensive one and she hated it.
Took it back and got the Nuna leaf. She's 3 and still loves it

We have one.. It's handy when you need to shower or eat dinner etc but ours was a hand me down from family.. I'm not sure I would buy one myself... Would definitely get a baby gym though

We have a Fisher Price one, hopefully you can see pic attached. I'm in US but assume they sell similar in U.K. it wasn't cheap and She didn't like it at first but from when she was about 6 weeks onward she started to love it. She's 10 weeks now. II only put her in it once per day if that for 30 mins approx, I could put her in it more but either hold her (a lot!) or she's on a playmat. When she's in it it allows me to get on with a few things, and it does stop her crying it all the usual tricks won't work! I'm not sure one is necessary but I'm glad we have ours.

Had one and barely used it last time, not sure it'll come down from the loft this time...

I bought one as a last resort when DS was 4 weeks old as i was struggling massively with him constantly needing rocking. He hated it. It's been sat in the cupboard ever since. Don't spend loads if you do get one

We have a Graco lovin hug swing.
It's definitely been a life saver with both babies.

Good safe place to let them nap in the day or soothe them when you need your hands free.

Baby not due til jan but been looking at mamas & papas starlite swing. Dn had that one and lived in it.

Get a second hand one. DS refused to be put down, in a moses basket, baby gym, pram, bouncer, carseat or cot but would cope on the baby swing long enough for me to eat my dinner!
