anyone had sex diagnosed correctly at 12/13 week scan?

I had a private scan at 13 weeks where they said they were 70% sure of sex. I couldn't see anything of course. Did any of you have the sex predicted at such an early stage - and did it turn out to be right?

My SIL was told she was having a girl at 12 wk scan... turned out she did!

Yes, but it was a part of a CVS and was by Prof Nicolaides so it was someone who really knew his stuff.

Yes, I was told I was having a boy and the scanner was right..

We had a private scan at 11 + 4 and was told the doctor (not a tech) was 70-80% sure it was a girl based on tiny little lines along the pubis bone. 21 week scan confirmed.

Yes, had a private nuchal scan at 12 weeks at Fetal Medicine Centre, and they were 85% sure she was a girl...they were correct!

Yes, I was told that they can detect girls early because the sex organs, eggs, etc are there right from the start.

My friend scanned me at 12 weeks and was pretty sure it was a boy. This has been confirmed at the 22 week scan.

Yes, with my first child I had a nuchal scan at 12 weeks and they correctly predicted he was a boy.
My friend was also correctly told that she was having a son at her 12 week nuchal scan (both Kings, London).

Yes, told at 11 wks that it was a girl (when pressed gave 70% chance) and yes it was a girl. However my friend, same clinic was told exactly the same but it was a boy so there you go!

I was told it was hard to tell but if they had to guess would say it was a girl - WRONG!- it was my third boy!

Yes at 12 weeks was told it's a boy - correctly.

Yes correctly told it was a boy at the nuchal fold scan (12 weeks) which I had at fetal medicine centre.

sorry to be the only one - someone I know was told girl at 12 week scan then told boy at 20 week scan.
little bubba not born yet so who knows which will be right - I presume the 20 week scan!!!

Not me but a friend had a correct prediction at 12 weeks.

I am 24+5 now, and I was told at 11+5 that I was having a boy and I am!

while the scanner did not tell us the picture of ds in the womb is very good and he was clearly a boy.

we all discussed it etc and then figured that it could not be and it was too early (12 +2) but when he came out he was a boy
