Eating dreadfully -27 weeks help!

I'm almost 28 weeks and I can't stop eating/craving junk.

My cravings seem uncontrollable and I do have fruit and healthy balanced meals here and there, but everyday I want chocolate in particular and cookies. What's wrong with me!

Nothing wrong! I’m the same at 35 weeks. I’ve been exhausted the whole pregnancy and in the last trimester in particular my body seems to want sugar and carbs for the energy boost. I make sure my meals aren’t healthy and try to keep the snacks small... don’t deny myself though!

With my 5th baby I was horribly ill all the way through and got badly anaemic (needing an iron infusion at 38weeks). All I ate in the last 8 weeks was Twixs (I mean all) I literally couldn’t stomach anything else. Well nearly 9 years on she’s a healthy, tall girl and has the healthiest eater in the entire family!! You can’t do much about cravings imo when you’re pregnant!

I'm 27 weeks and have been the same. I've been feeling really shit about it. Keep eating way to much chocolate, every day i promise myself i won't do it tomorrow. Hmm

Yep this is me, the guilt always kicks in after but the next day I'm back to my 'I must have chocolate' mode.

Even today I said I'd be good and I've just had cake 😩

This is me too, just shy of 27 weeks and having promised myself I'd be good just in case the (routine for age) GT test came back bad, I drank a Frijj Milkshake and ate a family size bag of chocolate buttons before the day was over 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have such a sweet tooth! I'm just making sure my meals have lots of vegetables in as well in the hope everything cancels out... Mostly spinach for some reason. Cravings are weird!!

Oh my god, I went off everything sweet and was absolutely fine this entire pregnancy, I'm now 28 weeks and my sweet tooth is back with a vengeance (my dinner tonight was half a pot of Nutella)

I'm chalking it down to little one finally getting all her fat and needing that extra sugar ;)

As long as you're still getting you're 5 a day try not to worry! It's only for a few weeks SmileThanks
