Any suggestions on how to relieve the symptoms. It keeping me awake some nights

Speak to your midwife or GP! I was waking every hour for Gaviscon and finally phoned my GP to ask if they’d prescribe something stronger. Both ranitidine and omeprazole are safe in pregnancy- I can’t believe the difference since I started taking omeprazole, wish I’d done it weeks ago!

Yes!! Omeprazole....

I was hating life due to heartburn and they are an instant relief!!

Likewise with the omeprazole. You may need to speak to your GP instead of your midwives though - mine let me suffer for ages before saying I should call my GP!

I sleep on a big reflux wedge pillow and take omeprazole and tesco cheap tablet version of gaviscon. Still wakes me up but i’m getting some sleep. I can’t lie down flat at all.
