Hi all. 28 + 3 first pregnancy

Feeling a LOT of pressure (down below) teeny shooting sensations in my minnie (TMI sorry don’t know how else to explain it) and then I occasionally feel baby wriggling around my knicker line.

This is a bit early for her to be so low down isn’t it? Ive tried googling and I keep getting pre-term labour results?

Anyone else have/had this sensation too? Should I bother trying to get a hospital appointment?

Maybe call 111 or text community midwife to see what they suggest? They'd most likely tell you to get checked out in hospital. If it's something new and persistent I'd get checked just to be on the safe side x

Hi I am almost the exact same. I did call my midwife friend about it but some days I feel pressure down there with wriggling and some days not and kicks by my belly button.

Her explanation was that at this point the baby can still move. Perhaps for you today the head is down and her hands are what you can feel "wriggling". Its mainly about positioning. However, if the pressure gets really bad i would suggest calling them? I get days where i feel she is going to burst through my vagina but apparently it is normal. Its my first time too and I am 28 weeks.

My 3rd has been low all through this pregnancy, and I’ve had some pretty uncomfortable days! Most movements I’ve felt have been almost as if he’s between my front and back passage- it’s so hard to explain! Hasn’t meant early labour for me, currently 38+ weeks and he’s still cooking away...

Surely if you're old enough to have a baby you're old enough to say 'pubic area' or something other than 'minnie' Hmm

@JupiterDrops

What a pointless response. If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.

I've been having a lot of shooting pains from weeks ago now, and my due date is tomorrow. So from my experience it doesn't mean the baby's ready just yet.
