Measuring small - what could this mean?

Hi,

I got told I had low papp-a and have had to have extra scans throughout pregnancy. He was measuring find until 32 weeks were he has started to measure small. had to have more scans and hes still not growing as much as they would like. Have another scan booked at 37 weeks to check growth again. Was wondering if anyone had anything similar to this and if so what the outcome was? I was unsure if they would maybe induce me early or still let the baby come naturally!

I measured small about 34 weeks, got sent for a scan. The baby was fine. I just wasn't fat. :) They did things like check the blood flow in and out of placenta, in colour! Baby was born the biggest of my lot, almost 9 lbs. I think these measurements are just rules of thumb and don't mean anything at all by selves.

They've measured him small at the lastest scan as well so wasnt sure what the next steps were!

Not me but a close friend measured very small and despite being very slim barely had a bump to speak of.
She had lots of extra scans.
Anyway dc1 was born a month early weighing 5lb while dc2 was born on his due date weighing 6lb. Both naturally, never any discussion of induction.

It turned out they were just small, no particular reason. They are now both at school, average-tall height and no issues whatsoever.

The baby was fine. I just wasn't fat.

Yeah that's not how it works.

I measured small and had a 7lb baby girl who was taller than me by 11, and I’m not short.
