Hi everyone, I am due my first little one in november and am looking to order a bath or bath seat, thermometer and baby monitor (preferably a visual one) and have no idea which brand or model I should be looking at for any of them.

Could anyone please help? Which type of thermometer is best for newborns, like wise with the bath seat or baby baby.

I'd love a monitor i can see little one on any suggestions?

Thanks a million😊xxxxx

My first is due in October so I can’t say for certain that it works but I heard nothing but good things about the Angelcare Bath Rests (as opposed to a baby bath) and managed to get a really good deal on one of those so might be worth a look at those?

Shnuggle bath and Hestia Monitor have worked really well for us.
You don't need a bath thermometer- just test the water with your elbow.
You also likely won't need a monitor for a few months yet, assuming the baby is sleeping in the same room as you.

My advice is to go for a good bath, but not something too expensive or bulky as that's really not necessary and kids grow out of them too fast. We loved our john lewis basic bath www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-the-basics-baby-bath-white/p230397109

I didn't use the plastic baby recliner seats as they were awkward and I couldn't get their base to stick. For total new borns, we only used a normal bowl with warm water for top and tsiling, then moved to a sponge cushion from mothercare to line our baby bath and stop baby slipping.

Re. Thermometers ,- I recommend the ones which you just point at baby's head, so you won't need to struggle.
