Hi I had a miscarriage last month on the 9th July I had a scan and the nurse said it was a complete miscarriage and she said it must have started 4-5 day previous to bleeding as my bloods where so low in pregnancy hormone. Anyway last week I felt pregnant my jeans hurt my stomach when sitting down, my breasts hurt, feeling faint etc it’s all the same as my previous 3 pregnancies which resulted in 3 healthy boys. The miscarriage pregnancy I felt nothing but a incline of being pregnant

Well I’ve taken 3 test since Saturday 22nd first was a light line 3 days later a darker line today a dark red line.

Could it be possible if pregnant already? I can’t get an appointment until next week Tuesday to get any professional advice/help

Did you get a negative test result after your miscarriage? Sadly positive results can keep coming back for a few months after MC so it's hard to say without more information.

Mumma3boyz89 · 30/08/2018 16:56

Yes 2 completely negative results 1-2 weeks after the miscarriage

I’m currently pregnant straight after a miscarriage. Looks like I conceived about 3 weeks after, so yes it’s definitely possible.

If you had low HCG levels immediately after MC and now your lines are getting darker, I would say you are definitely pregnant again!! You are actually slightly more fertile immediately after and more likely to have a successful pregnancy! Good luck! Xxx

Thank you, I had two negative tests after my miscarriage I just wanted to see if it would still show positive and it didn’t it wasn’t until 3 weeks later last Saturday that I tested and it was positive

In that case it sounds like it's definitely a new pregnancy. You can get pregnant straight after MC. Congratulations!Flowers

I got pg 1 week after a Mmc ( with surgical removal) at 12 weeks
No negative pg tests or period, just pg again
I was basically pg for a year - she’s 13 now!

Wow, well if I am I’d be over the moon as the miscarriage really broke my heart it was only 4-5 weeks along but we got so excited when we found out. This time it’s tinged with worry until I know for sure I’m holding back my excitement

I had a miscarriage on 13th July and am now pregnant too so I am completely in your shoes. X

I took this test this morning I can't post photos as I'm new 🙄 but it's two red lines the test is nearly as dark as the control line. I'm so ahh right now don't want to get excited in case it's wrong although 3 weeks ago I had a negative result pretty sure it can't go negative positive with out being pregnant. I'm glad I'm not the only one gives me some reassurance 🙂

I called the doctor for an appointment for today she booked me in when I explained she cancels both today and Tuesday and said I don't need an appointment so now what do I do. I've got 3 kids to think of so I don't need all this worry. It's the 2nd doctors appointment I've booked in a year lol you'd think I was a compulsive Booker the way she acted.

TW. Miscarriage mentioned and pregnancy.

Hi guys. Just asking if anyones had anything similar - bad or good endings.

We miscarried at 12 weeks 3 weeks ago - i had surgery and my bleeding stopped the next day (20th of December)

Me and my partner have been sexually active since the 27th (soon for some i know but going on to try again is the only thing seeming to get us through this)

I had a negative test 14 days after the miscarriage - Fast forward to last night and today i’ve had very faint positives, two at home and one at the doctors (i did one because i had what felt like implantation pain) - i have NO idea whats going on but the GP doctor has referred me back to EPAU.

They said one of two things, the negative was false and my HCGs are still coming down OR a very very very early new pregnancy.

I have a scan on friday to confirm whether there was anything left from the surgery still causing a positive (which is unlikely) and a blood test to see my HCGs.

Has anyone experienced this before? Surely its way way too soon to know if i’m pregnant again? And surely they would know if they left something behind and i would have had other symptoms like infection etc if this was the case? So a possible false negative and HCGs coming down i reckon?

Beyond confused and this glimmer of hope of a new pregnancy or the horror of something still being there from the miscarriage is going to feel like i’ve lost the baby twice if its a bad outcome.

I wish waited for my first cycle but i am so desperate for a baby and i can’t think of anything else.

Please no judgement just similar stories if any?

Thankyou.

Pictured is last night and todays test.

Hi there @Mac55555,
first of all, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I also had a missed miscarriage around that gestation last year. It's horrible.

This is a very old thread so you may find it better to start a new one. I will reply to you here anyway as I don't want to read and run.

I had surgical management of my miscarriage on 30 August and fell pregnant again 3 weeks later. I bled for a whole week though and then ovulated just as if that bleed had been a period. So if you only bled for a day, it may not be entirely impossible that you ovulated again roughly two weeks later.

I also had a faint positive test at around 8 dpo, which I thought was crazy early.

Unfortunately there's not much you can do to know for sure than to wait and see. Maybe test again in a day or two (same test and same time of day as before) and see if your test lines are getting stronger. Mine did progress until it was undeniably a bfp.

It's great you have a blood test and scan booked for later this week. But don't be too disheartened if there's nothing to be seen on the scan yet. I had a scan at just 4-5 weeks due to bleeding and they couldn't see anything yet. It was classified as "pregnancy of unknown location" at the time. But I'm now 18 weeks with a summersaulting little baby in my belly so it was definitely there!

I wish you all the best and hope you get your rainbow soon x

@RaliaMusca thank you so much for responding - i am driving myself crazy i won’t lie.

this was my third miscarriage but the furthest i had got and i was absolutely shocked was so sure we were safe this time reaching 12 weeks.

i am so sorry for your loses too and congratulations on your pregnancy!

did you have a negative test prior to your positive test 8dpo? And did you have any signs of ovulation?

i have read everywhere that if your HCGs are too high you can’t ovulate - but after surgery and my bleeding stopping completely i assumed the 24 hours of heavy bleeding prior to surgery would have classed as the period aswell as the miscarriage - its all so confusing.

i had signs of ovulation - discharge etc and pain in my left side - so i’m just so unsure.

i’m going to try and hold out until wednesday and test again - and then wait till Friday.

i think a scan to show there is no retained tissue from the last pregnancy and 2 blood tests one on friday next a few days later would then indicate if this is a new pregnancy, i just cant believe its possible and i pray it is - i am so desperate to be a mum.

thank you again for your reply, i just hope
this isn’t a sign of my miscarriage still lingering and recovery then having to take longer. Feels then like i’ve lost the baby twice.

i’ll be sure to update here once i know for sure - thank you :)
