I read you can feel your uterus if you press slightly below your bellybutton at this stage so I thought I'd give it a go. I only slightly touched to realise it feels very bruised from pelvis to belly button.

Is this normal?

I'm nearly 17 weeks and haven't liked the feeling of anything pressing on my stomach in the last few weeks, it feels like I tiny bit of pressure but no pain. I would give the midwife a ring just to make sure all is ok, it could just be where you've been stretching.

Totally normal. I've had it with all of mine, it's not nice is it?

I'm 23 weeks now and it's not like that at all.
It does pass, don't worry.

I noticed yesterday that my belly button felt very sore to the touch and the whole area feels uncomfortable to touch
