Pain in groin/pelvis

Hi all

36+3 and I have a pain/ache in my groin/pelvis. It tends to start aching if I’ve been stood too long or walked a while. Is it just where baby is? I do feel loads of pressure so could that be it? This is DC2

Could be starting of very very early labour and your body getting ready. I had it for a good month or so before I actually went into labour.
Or just general aches from your body holding not just you but a babe too like you said.

I'm 36+6 with dc2 also and have had a similar feeling in last few weeks, almost at the creases at the tops of my thighs. I have assumed it was a bit of spd/ pelvic girdle pain and when I start to feel it I know I've been doing too much and avoid much walking for the next day or two. I didn't get this last time and was walking loads but pelvic pain is more common in subsequent pregnancies apparently. I find it helpful to keep my knees together when I turn in bed, get out the car etc, it's sore if I don't.

@merename that’s the exact same place my pain is. I can feel constant pressure and it’s just uncomfortable now 😔

I know it's a bummer. At least we've not long to go. Have you finished work?

Yes I had 3 weeks of holiday to use so used that to leave early. Spending quality time with DC1 before the new baby arrives!

I did the same, although a bit much of the quality time involves DD watching peppa while I snooze on the couch!! Oops
