4 weeks - stomach cramps?

Hi all, I’m approx 4 weeks pregnant with my first. I’ve had mild nausea/stomach cramps for the last week (which I didn’t worry about as I’d heard it’s normal) but then two nights ago I had stabbing cramps so bad they woke me up and I had to take painkillers. The cramps have stopped entirely now and I haven’t bled at all but it doesn’t feel like a good sign :( Has anyone else had the same happen? I know it’s early for me to have any kind of symptom but that just makes it more confusing.

No-one responded to this but I wanted to update it in case someone finds it one day and is having similar concerns. A few days after my first episode of stabbing cramps I had another that was much worse. This time it didn’t respond to painkillers. I called 111 and was referred to an Out off Hours clinic. The doctor there was nice but nearly sent me home with stronger painkillers - he hesitated and sent me to A&E because of my agonised response to gentle stomach pressure. In A&E I was feeling faint and they quickly wheelchaired me to another area for diagnosis - massive internal bleeding following a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. It was early onset with acute symptoms so it’s unlikely it could have been caught even if I’d demanded to be seen earlier but I wanted to share my story. I know the odds were against me on this one but I can’t help worrying that I could have saved myself surgery or at least my fallopian tube if I’d been more paranoid about the initial pain Sad
