What vitamins do you take while trying to concieve?
I know foelic acid is key to take. But just wondering if you take any other? Or what brand you use?
Also, has your partner ever taken tablets to help with their fertility? As I know pregnacare do tablets for men too.

I wasn't actively trying to conceive but I take vitamin D as I had a severe deficiency years ago. When I had my deficiency I was talking to a friend of mine who had issues getting pregnant. She got tested, found that her levels were low, started supplementing vitamin D and got pregnant. Could be a coincidence.

Folic acid is the only one you should really take if you are actively trying (and up to the end of the 1st trimester). Other than that, eat a balanced diet and lead a healthy lifestyle and you will be getting all the nutrients you need. No need to spend a fortune on pregnacare etc.

Vitamin D levels should be tested before supplementing so that your doctor can give you a recommendation on the amount of vitamin D to take. It is possible to be low! You never know, unless you test.
For Pregnacare, it is basically a multivitamin. As another mentioned, you can consider a folic acid supplement, but know that the methylated forms of folate are often absorbed better. CoQ10 is another supplement that research suggests may support fertility in men and women. With CoQ10, it is better to look for a supplement that is both water and fat-soluble for better absorption.
For all supplements, it is good to review them with your doctor before beginning a new regimen.
