Could it be twins???

Ok so please don't make fun of me, this is my first pregnancy and its come as a bit of a shock as it was the first month we had been trying!

I took a test 6 day before my period as I felt odd and saw a faint blue line on one test but nothing on the other. Took four (I know) clear blue digital ones on the first day of my missed period and got a BFP straight away.

Doctor says I'm 4 weeks but I'm thinking its more likely 6. The thing is I've started feeling sick and I'm freezing cold! I had cramps until yesterday but now they have gone. I have this odd feeling its twins? Does anyone else have this experience? Also, is it normal for the cramping to just stop? My boobs are still swollen and I feel sicky and light headed. Should I be worried?

I've booked for a private scan next Tuesday as we are going on holiday next Friday and I want to know everything is cooking ok so far!
I'm sorry to sound like a worrier but I'm new to this and really frighted.

I think every woman has the “what if it’s multiples” thoughtat some point.

Nothing you have written suggests a higher probability than a singleton. It’s always a small possibility.

My friend was pregnant with twins and had no symptoms whatsoever. She didn’t even find out until she was 11 weeksGrin

Every pregnancy is unique, it isn’t necessarily twins.

I got an early positive (9dpo) and felt sick at the same time (and have been a lot worse with aversions and sickness in this pregnancy - currently hiding in the bedroom as OH is cooking garlic 🤢). However just a singleton for me (thankfully!!). Previous pregnancy I didn't get a positive until 18dpo despite loads of symptoms there too. It's really hard not to early on, but try not to read in to things too much. I can hardly talk though as I was the same as you early on!
