Exactly the same symptoms for each pregnancy and I have a girl and a boy. I don't think there's anything in the theory that symptoms are different depending on the sex of the baby. Some people have identical symptoms, some people feel different each pregnancy.

Iv been hospitalised twice ( I'm 16 weeks) due to sickness... I had s nipt which confirmed I'm having a girl.

My boobs hurt all day everyday since the day I peed on a test!

I also have terrible hormonal acne on my jawline.

Monipop84 · 28/08/2018 08:02

I think at the end of the day they're all old wives tales. I have horrible sickness and crave chocolate like there's no tmw so in theory it should be twin girls in there....Grin

Nutkins24 · 28/08/2018 08:05

Exactly the same for boy and girl. Bad sickness, crave sweets , bad skin. I kinda believed there must be something in old wives tales until I discovered I was having the opposite sex this time.

OutPinked · 28/08/2018 08:08

Barely any! My skin was clear throughout, boobs barely hurt and I didn’t have one drop of nausea. It was brilliant Grin.

With boys, on the other hand, every symptom going...

Breasts were so tender very early on, so much so that showering would make me cry in pain.

Severe sickness from 5-6 weeks which went on until 2 weeks after birth. Ended up losing 2st 8lbs while pregnant. Hospitalised twice.

Hated the smell of all diary products.

Really bad indigestion- never had it while pregnant with my son.

StrugglingMumma · 28/08/2018 08:10

And my skin was very dry, and hair became very thin in places. It had has taken my hair just over 2 years to get back to normal.

justwow1 · 28/08/2018 08:28

I craved citrus flavours when pregnant with my daughter and meats when carrying my son. X

MollyMallyMindy · 28/08/2018 08:32

Nausea and faintness from implantation onwards. Morning sickness to around 13 weeks, then mainly low blood pressure. None of that with ds.
With both, huge tiredness, SPD and craving for egg, fish and meat as well as fruit.

Gorbie · 28/08/2018 08:37

My son, morning sickeness every single morning till about 9 am then it passed, was really sick every morning
With my 2 daughters felt sick all day more so in the afternoons and evenings, only physically sick a couple of times but felt sick all day and even when I was in bed at night felt sick
Cravings with my son milk, bananas and weetabix
With my daughters, chocolate cake and biscuits. Basically anything sweet!

SoyDora · 28/08/2018 08:37

I have two girls, completely different symptoms with both.
Number 1- very sore boobs, mild sickness and nausea from 6-12 weeks, loss of appetite.
Number 2- no sore boobs, nausea that was only stemmed by eating everything in the world!

Now pregnant with number 3, a boy. No sore boobs, severe sickness from 6-20 weeks, absolutely no appetite, severe food aversions, headaches and exhaustion.

SoyDora · 28/08/2018 08:38

Oh and I craved savoury with girl number one, sweet with girl number 2 and nothing except orange juice in this (boy) pregnancy.

SparkyBlue · 28/08/2018 08:39

I have a boy and a girl. I had miserable pregnancies on both

silkpyjamasallday · 28/08/2018 08:42

Vomiting all day every day for 40 weeks was my one and only pregnancy symptom. It runs in my family though, everyone is horrendously sick regardless of the sex of the baby.

keepingbees · 28/08/2018 08:52

I was much more sick with my boy, and it lasted the whole pregnancy whereas is tailed off around 13 weeks with my girl. I craved savoury food with my boy and sweet with my girl. I don't remember having particularly sore boobs with either.

GrumpySausage · 28/08/2018 09:05

I've got one of each. Didn't find out for either.
With my DS I had terrible sickness up until 20 weeks and put on weight everywhere. Had to take my wedding ring off early on as retaining so much water.

With my DD I had no sickness at all and my weight gain was all in my bump. Huge bump very high up. I felt so much healthier and fit during that pregnancy.

I wondered if it was because boy/girl but I reckon it's more to do with the fact I already had a toddler to run after and couldn't 'give in' to feeling sick/fat/pregnant!

beccii161016 · 28/08/2018 10:19

First pregnancy was DS this pregnancy is DD. I've noticed differences mainly: more tired and pregnancy feeling harder and more draining in general (might be due to having a near 2 year old though). Worse sickness - I was sick for the first trimester with DS but it was once in the morning and then no hint of nausea. This time I'm 18 weeks and still wake feeling nauseous and I was sick more often and more randomly. My skin is more spotty. I've had more aches and pains but again that could just be a second pregnancy thing.

To be honest, I had a strong gut feeling what sex both of mine are from not long after finding out I was pregnant and turned out to be right so I think there's a lot to be said for that.

beccii161016 · 28/08/2018 10:19

Ooh and extremely sore boobs to the point I've had to turn the shower pressure down haha!
