Hi everyone,
I would like some advice or just take this out of my chest....
I'm 40+4 weeks pregnant, my last appointment with the midwife was last Wednesday and my blood pressure was so high I was send to the hospital to have it check. I was two hours there and they check my blood pressure every 15m and it was completely fine all the time so I was sent home. I've been two weeks with headaches every day witch I told the midwifes and told me just to take paracetamols... but they start to just don't make anything for me...
The point now is that I don't have any more appointments, my midwife is on holidays and I'm here in my house just waiting for my little one to come...

It's frustrating... I feel like they are not paying attention to my pregnancy... leaving me on a side... and it makes me angry... idk what to do.... shouldn't they have me checked and make sure everything is ok with my baby?

Idk what to do...

( just a little thing, like a clear kind of jelly strings keep appearing on my underwear or on the toilet paper when I wipe myself. Any idea what it is? There is no blood on it)

Thanks Smile

I would say the stringy stuff is your mucus plug, so you may find things start to happen in the next few days! Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I know it's easier said than done, but try to get as much rest as possible and be kind to yourself. Thanks X

Headaches is a sign of high blood pressure which in turn is a sign for pre-eclampsia. Do you have any swelling?

Can you get yourself checked out at the hospital again?

The stringy stuff you've described sounds like bits of your mucous plug, which is good.

Do you not have a 41 week midwife appointment booked?

I'm 41 weeks today and have my 41 week midwife appointment today. At my 40 week appointment they also booked me in for my induction if I'm still pregnant at 41+5.

I would call your community midwives or the hospital and explain that you would like to know what to expect next in terms of your care.

Best of luck
