Did you find out later than 6 weeks?

I’m just starting to wonder if the nausea I’ve been feeling for the last few weeks may actually be unrelated to the upset stomach I had a couple of weeks ago. And whether the sore boobs I’ve had for the last 5 or 6 weeks (so so sore) could be trying to tell me something. Now I come to think of it my last period was a couple of days later than normal and a lot lighter... the last one before that was about 7.5 weeks ago.

So anyway, just musing as I’m sure there’s nothing to see here... but I’d always assumed women find out they’re pregnant before 5 weeks or so.

So tell me, did you find out later than “usual”? What happened? Is this common?

I think generally at 6/7 weeks you would see at least a faint positive on a home test. I'd say if a test comes back negative, wait until your next period is due and see if AF arrives. If not, see your GP. I'm not sure the GP will do a blood test right now if you had what you thought was a period but it's always worth checking with them!

I didn't find out till ten weeks with one of mine. I had a period which was light, it must have been implantation bleeding.
