Wide fit shoes for swollen feet??

EL332 · 26/08/2018 22:46

My feet are quite wide anyway... I'm 26 weeks and struggling to fit in most of my shoes - my feet don't look overly swollen and my urine and blood pressure have been fine.

Just looking for advice on brands/styles of shoes women with swollen feet have found comfortable
Into the 3rd trimester? I'm suddenly realising that my flip flops might not take me through until end Nov/Dec 🙄

Any suggestions welcome! ☺️

I alternated flip flops and fake uggs from Sainsburys! I had one pair of m&s wide fit pumps for work but I only wore them when I saw clients.

My poor feet have never gone back to their original size, all my lovely shoes are too small now!

I’m finding superga pretty good right now. Also have a pair of hiking sandals that I’ve worn far too much over the summer, but the fact they fasten in 2 places with Velcro means I can adjust them as the day goes on.

Both mine are summer born, so I waddled through in flip flops until the end. You could try simply be for boots, they tend to be wider than other shops

Do you need any specific types of shoes for work/events?

Try Evans - you can get most styles in either wide or extra wide. Plus they present them on racks so you can try on various size combinations without having to ask a sales assistant to fetch you them! It has been a godsend for me for both casual and work stuff. Hate cheap shoes normally but needs must! Some I’ve bought wide, some extra wide. Some in my size, some in bigger size! Hence why it’s great to be able to try them on. Good luck!

Slip on plimsolls from new look for me.

Hotter shoes have also turned out to be quite comfy :)

I love my Sketchers memory foam trainers but they are on the expensive side.

M&S do a good range of wide fit shoes (I have wide feet anyway) if you need smart shoes for work.

I ended up in Crocs at the end if my first pg! That baby is very nearly 10, and my formerly size 7.5-8 feet are nice permanently a 9.

New Look have quite a large wide fit selection if you don't want to spend a lot

Simply be and Evans have width fitting shoes :)

I don’t know how wide your feet are but these do good shoes, and you can also take out the insole in some and make them wider again if needed.

Second flip flops for around the house and then I wore men’s deck shoes under maternity shorts for the last two months. They are wider and I have size 40 feet anyway so it worked for me.

I have wide feet anyway and find New Look, M&S and Hotter are all good for widths Smile
