Growth scans

Ive read alot of threads about growth scans where alot of people say the baby ended up smaller than predicted.

My question is has anyones baby ended up BIGGER than predicted?

Anyone?

I had growth scans with #2 and they estimate 8lb 7... she came out as 6lb 15! Not sure if that is any help to you!

Im taking it from the lack of replies that no one has had a baby that's bigger than the growth scan. Which is a good thing :)

Yes, I can't say I have ever heard of it... perhaps someone will come along and say otherwise. Are you worried baby will be big then?

Yes .. I was told my first was going to be big @ 9lbs and he was 10lbs 10oz .. I'd a planned section .. and boy was I glad! I was told the same about my second but she ended out being 8lbz 3oz .. she seemed tiny in comparison to my son!

I have gestational diabetes so i am expecting a big baby as its a common side effect. My last growth scan predicted baby will be 8lbs at birth, which isnt too bad considering my last baby was 10lbs.

Mine ended up 1oz bigger at 9lb 11 so the growth scans were pretty accurate for me!
