8 weeks pregnant and brown scab on nipple?

Hello, I'm 8 weeks pregnant and I've just noticed a brown scab on my nipple. Isn't it too early to be producing anything? Has anybody else had this so early in pregnancy? Thanks

No it isn't too early to produce colostrum however the scab could be anything like a sore or blocked follicle as your post isn't very descriptive.

It could just be the extra melatonin caused by hormones (like a mole). You could try soaking in the bath and see if it's just dry skin.

Thanks both. It's probably colostrum as BlueBug suggests. It's now on both nipples so have ruled out a blocked follicle. x
