Hi all, I used to be a regular many years ago. Apologies for the long post but here we go...
Last period 10th July
I went to my gp 10th August as I was having what I thought was a strange period - brown spotting for a few days, he suggested it maybe implantation bleeding and to do a pregnancy test.
11th - positive test
12th - positive test, but spotting continued so I visited the gp who rather bluntly said I was probably miscarrying and bleeding would start soon.
14th - no change but peed on more tests and they were super dark. Phoned gp, had bloods to check hcg blood count.
15th - hcg blood count 121, positive and definitely still pregnant,told if spotting continued to go in (for swabs to rule out infection) in a few days
20th - back to gp for possible swabs, gp says not needed but to have another hcg blood count to see where we are
21st- results blood count 413
22nd - horrendous pain right side, hip, leg, bum, felt like pressure/contractions, rushed in to a&e via ambulance, temp 37.7, small bleed but back to brown which had now been going on for over 2 weeks, scan at epu arranged for following morning
23rd - bloods repeated - results 511, internal scan, apparently too early to see anything? I have to return Tuesday (27th) for more bloods
Still passing brown, no pain, no clots but hcg not doubling, right side pain was believed to be my right ovary which released the egg & cyst (which is normal)
So, I'm sat here in limbo, I have no idea what to think
