What are the chances of having to have a vag scan at my 22 week scan?

The last two scans i've had have had to be vag scans (1 at 12, 1 at 13) because of scar tissue across my abdomen and also due to fatness

When i'm 22 weeks, will the baby be far up enough for me to have a normal scan? I would quite like my DS1 (17) to come along to this scan but obviously not if i have to have a vag scan!!!

I dont think you'll have to have an internal scan, not at 22 weeks,

That's what i thought. Would just hate to turn up with DS1 and my DP only to have to turn away DS1 because they have to vag scan me!!

...although when I had early vag scans it was all very discreet in any case. Big sheet covering everything embarrassing and you can get your ds to lurk outside until the wand thing is safely inside. Shy though teenagers are, he probably wouldn't even realise what was going on, too busy gawping at the screen...

Yeah Tallis, they did that for me too, but he's not daft, he'd know exactly where the wand thing was lol
