Breastfeeding tops

How do you make these work in real life? Nursing bra plus nursing top = faff. How do you make your boobs easy access? Are there any decent tops available with a built in bra that aren't vests? I can't find anything anywhere!

I never got on with nursing tops. I just had a nursing bra with a cheap cami (neckline gets ruined) to pull down, and then lifted up whatever was on top.

I did have one really tight cami with drop cups so I didn’t need a bra, but could only use that once everything settled down and I wasn’t enormous!

Not quite what you're asking for but I've bought a couple of b-shirts this time and they're really good. If I'm not wearing them then I have two clip strap tops from ASOS and just wear them under normal clothes. I do have to wear nursing bras with them but don't find it tricky to get access. I've also got some 'proper' nursing tops but find them a bit uninspiring appearance wise so don't wear them lots! I've found I've become really adept at getting everything undone and a screaming baby on one handed whilst negotiating with a rowdy toddler!

Ooh like a button down shirt? I haven't seen any of them!

Got just bought loads of spaghetti strap vests from Primark (didn't bother with maternity bras either) and wore them underneath my usual tops.

Pull down vest/ bra cup, latch baby on and my other top covered the top of my breast. Harder to do in the summer months though!

I never found a practical breastfeeding top.

Best under tshirt worked best.

Tshirt up, vest down works really well.

Coming on the day same as PP after faffing and failing with DD1 for subsequent DDs I wore my normal balconwtte/plunge bra with a vest top and then a floaty too over it.

Scoop boob out of vest and cup, lift floaty top just above nipple and latch. Soooooo much easier that arsing around unclipping stuff and more discreet!

I just had loads of cheap strappy tops (h&m an primark mainly) in a variety of colours and wore those under my normal tops. Normal top went up, strappy top got pulled down by the neckline (hence needing cheap ones) and the nursing bra popped down. Meant I showed very little boob and no tummy and was very little faff!

Maybe it just takes a while to get the knack
