I'm 6 weeks and my boobs are KILLING me. I could really do with a nice soft support/sport bra to wear at night and around the house -andeverywhereelse-

Looked on Amazon but there are so many on there I got a bit overwhelmed - anyone got any suggestions?

Asda so soft

Jeffjefftyjeff · 23/08/2018 06:14

For round the house I wore a vest top with built in support (I think from matalan).

M&S do a really lovely supersoft non-wired bra for a lot £20, i’n wearingibe to death at the moment.

Alternatively ASOS do a pack of 2 sleep bras which are just little stretchy crop tops

RosiePosies · 23/08/2018 08:40

@MindatWork the M&S ones do look lovely

I got a super soft non wired M&S one a couple of weeks ago and don't want to wear anything else! I bought it a size big for future growth but it still supports well.

RosiePosies · 23/08/2018 13:09

@silvertongue looks like m and s is the winner, was it a bra size or a clothing size type bra?

Im 21 weeks and have only just given in to buying soft bigger bras .. i went for a double pack from H&M and its my most favourite item of clothing haha... I only brought 2 to see how i got on with them but they are soft soft soft and handy for nursing in the future if you plan to BF ...

my tip would be to try them on and go for a size up in both back and cup as they grow :)

Bravissimo sorted me out (but then I'm big boobed anyway!). Great fitting service, and designs that still support without underwire.

hammeringinmyhead · 25/08/2018 14:10

I recommended this earlier but the Emma Jane maternity bras are great. I got mine from ASOS.

RosiePosies · 25/08/2018 15:00

@hammeringinmyhead like these?

Bravado body silk seamless. Worn mine for four years now... can't seem to go back to normal ones 😂

I picked one up in asda today it was 6 quid. I also ordered a 2 pack from the maternity section in h&m that arrived today and they are also comfy enough although asda one looks nicer. I'm 7 weeks and boobs are also killing me.

these - So so comfy and surprisingly much more supportive than you might think

RosiePosies · 25/08/2018 18:58

Thanks everyone, think I'm going to have to go out to all these places and feel up loads of bras. For some reason everything I thought was comfy before now feels like it's scratching me to bits.

I agree with Asda sports bras. Got some prior to falling pregnant and took the padding out when I felt like I needed a bit more space. The pain eased up after a week or two but I'm still living in them now
